Project title: User account containing the different series followed.
Context: This project was carried out during the school holidays with the aim of developing a site offering different features. In particular, it allows users to create an account, manage their favorite series and organize them by categories.
Tools used:
- VMware for virtualization of the development environment.
- Visual Studio Code for writing and managing code.
Estimated workload: The project took approximately 72 hours of work.
Period of completion: From June 28, 2021 to September 2, 2021.
Objectives and functional needs:
- Implementation of a registration management system to allow users to create and manage their account.
- Development of a feature allowing users to add, view and modify followed series.
- Organization of series by categories for simplified and intuitive navigation.
Technologies used:
- Front-end: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for structure, design, and dynamic interactions.
- Back-end: PHP for feature management and MySQL for data management.
Documentation provided: A specification was created to structure the needs and guide the development.
Summary:
- This project allowed me to strengthen my skills in full-stack web development, particularly in the use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL technologies.
- The achievement gave me the opportunity to work on a complete project, ranging from user management to the organization of complex data.
- A contextualized watch on the technologies used was carried out, allowing me to integrate optimized practices to improve the quality and efficiency of the code.
