Project title: Website allowing to describe different characteristics.

Context: This project is part of an application maintenance approach, consisting of modifying and correcting specific modules of an existing website. The objective was to resolve bugs and make adjustments to improve the user experience.

Tools used:

  • Development : PhpStorm for code management and writing.
  • Version management: Git and GitHub for change tracking and collaboration.

Estimated workload: Approximately 20 hours were spent on this project.

Period of completion: From January 7, 2022 to January 14, 2022.

Objectives and functional needs:

  • Fixed a display bug that impacted the use of the site.
  • Changing the size of a promotional title to improve its readability.

Technologies used:

  • Front-end: HTML, CSS and JavaScript for managing interfaces and interactions.

Documentation provided: A specification was used to frame the needs and the modifications to be made.

Summary:

  • This project allowed me to discover the use of Doctrine, to understand how it works and its role in database management.
  • In-depth monitoring of the framework Symfony was carried out, allowing me to better understand its organization and its use in a corporate web project.
  • I was also able to discover and experiment with common application maintenance practices in a professional context.
